At last count, 2666 Flags were placed at homes and business on Veterans Day! With so many flags to place and pick up, the 15 DLCRC flag teams partner with 6 additional groups – Local Boy Scout troops, Lake Dallas Baptist Youth, and The Knights of Columbus, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Denton Evening Club, and UNT RotoAct.
But the fundraising efforts are far reaching as these partners are compensated for each flag they deploy, and this, in turn, helps their own organizations.
